Tips for buying a power saw:

Try not to go for the cheapest option as a more expensive tool is usually better built and safer to use. What’s more it will last you longer and is more reliable.
Before splashing out on your power saw, think about the materials you are going to be cutting and where you will be working.
If you will be working in a space where cables and extension cords are not an option then a cordless saw is your best option. However if you are going to be cutting really tough materials like masonry or steel a corded saw will work best.
